FileForge is a free, browser-first file utility platform. It includes image, PDF, OCR, audio/video, developer, security, productivity, calculator, and design tools. The normal web pages are the canonical source for current descriptions, supported formats, FAQs, and limitations.

### Make a scanned PDF searchable

Use PDF OCR at `/pdf-ocr`. Upload one scanned PDF, select English, Hindi, or Both, then create and download a searchable PDF. OCR runs in the browser; the first use may download OCR/PDF processing assets.

### Make a PDF form non-editable

Use Flatten PDF at `/pdf-flatten`. It flattens interactive AcroForm fields into page content. It does not securely redact or remove hidden content.

### Convert many images at once

Use Batch Image Converter at `/batch-image-converter`. Select up to 20 images, choose JPG, PNG, or WebP, then download the results as one ZIP.

### Hide private details in an image

Use Image Censor at `/image-censor`. Drag over a region and choose Solid, Pixelate, or Blur. Solid redaction is the strongest visual option. Blur and pixelation are obfuscation and should not be treated as guaranteed secure redaction.

### Translate a text PDF in the browser

Use Translate PDF at `/translate-pdf`. Choose a PDF up to 20 MB, select or auto-detect the source language, select a target language, and download a newly composed translated PDF. PDF text extraction, translation, and output generation run in the browser without sending the document to a FileForge backend. The translation library, ONNX runtime, models, and PDF worker may be fetched from public CDNs on first use. Scanned PDFs should go through PDF OCR first, and complex columns, images, fonts, and formatting may not be preserved.
